Sales and Delivery of Crushed Rock in Yellowknife
Ace Enterprises Ltd provides sales and delivery of crushed rock in Yellowknife for roads, pads, backfilling, landscaping, etc. We have a wide range of crushed rock sizes. Our granite crush is a mix of greys and pinks in colour and is sourced from our local quarry.
We often have the following sizes of crushed rock in stock:
➤ 6” minus crush: large rock with smaller rocks mixed in, but mostly larger rock, some pieces can be almost 12” long and 6” inches in diameter.
➤ 2” minus crush: a larger size with smaller rocks and fines. Some pieces can be 4” long and 2” – 3” diameter. Usually used as a base for a smaller crush, filling in a low area, or building a road or driveway that doesn’t need to be a finished grade.
➤ ¾” minus crush: this size of gravel has many fine crushed rocks and is good for packing and levelling the yard. Most popular for residential customers, the largest rocks in the load are ¾” all around, and there are gradually smaller sized rocks and fines.
➤ ¾” clean crush: some smaller rocks in this load like some 5/8” minus and ½” minus size of rocks but it has no fines, so it does not pack down. It has a less dusty appearance, but it is not a washed crush. Some residents use this size for a dog run.
➤ 5/8” minus crush: largest rock in this load is 5/8” minus in size and there are gradually smaller rocks, as well as fines. Packs better than ¾” Minus.
➤ ½” minus crush: largest rocks in this load are ½” in size and there are gradually smaller rocks, as well as fines. Packs better than 5/8” minus.
➤ 3/8” minus crush: largest rocks in this load are 3/8” in size and there are gradually smaller rocks in this load, as well as fines. Packs better than ½” minus. The 3/8 minus size is very small and it has a lot of finely crushed rock for packing.
➤ 5/16” minus crush: looks like sand but is a very fine crushed rock. If there is wind during the delivery it will blow away. Used also for electrical projects.
